ANNOUNCE:
From Our Pi Day Team:
It's happening again! Let's not be TOO rational... it's always nice to find a good excuse to celebrate both the wonder of mathematics, and the eating of pie! On Friday, March 14th, Camelot will be having its annual Pi Day celebration, and if you would like to contribute, we would love to feature your pie! If you have a special flavor you love, and wish to pick it up at the store to send to school that day, or wish to acquaint our taste buds with some of the infinite products of your home recipes and ovens, either kind will be welcomed! Let us transcend the bounds of traditional education, and gather together to celebrate the infinite curiosity that mathematics can spark with its wonders, and the delicious treat of pie! Hive Adventures Summer Program is all the BUZZZZZZZZ…
Students ages 8-14 can join Ms. Sarah the week of June 9th for this unique-to-Camelot exploration held on campus, at the farm and on local field trips. Students will integrate math with building bee boxes, literature will bring to life the thousands of years of fascinating bee/honey history and students will have the opportunity to have an in-hive experience!
OPTIONAL FAMILY EVENT - Saturday, June 14 - Camelot campus - be part of the “great extraction” and assist as the annual crop of hundreds of pounds of honey is uncapped and spun.
Check it all out here:

Art Club will meet on Thursday - this week only - instead of the Wednesday slot. Wendy will send a follow up email to participants.
Finally, to all those celebrating this month, best wishes for a happy Ramadan.
I hope you have a great week!
Best,
Thelma
