Weekly Update for 02/16/2025
Sunday, February 16, 2025
Greetings!
THANK YOU for the productive time spent in Family Conferences and in New-to-Upper School Student-led conferences. This time that we spend together is foundational to keeping our work focused and our collaboration built on strong communication. We are deeply appreciative of the commitment of all involved to make it happen on behalf of our young people. Special thanks to Amy Cummings for her coordination of BOTH the New-to-Upper School in-person and the Upper School Zoom meetings, Michelle Banal for Middle Grades coordination and Nicole Heiner for MAPP coordination.
CONGRATULATIONS to these seniors on their recent college news:
- Malia Perera accepted to University of Pittsburgh at Bradford and Virginia Tech
- Donald Hite - has an update to his Gettysburg acceptance - he was awarded a 184 K Presidential Scholarship

Tuesday is MAKE-UP PICTURE Day:

National Honor Society Announcement written by Alex Morgan
Hello all, As you know, Ms. Jill is at home! We hope she makes a 100% recovery. NHS recognizes that meals should be the last thing Ms. Jill and her family worry about, so we are having a food drive to alleviate some of that worry. This drive will run from Monday, February 24th, to Monday, May 19th. The link for the Signup Genius is in the doc below. When you sign up and it is your week, bring the food to school at drop-off on the Monday of that week, and an NHS representative will be there to receive the food. We are asking for the food to be: vegetarian/or not- clearly labeled (Jill is vegetarian-her husband and son are not), reheatable, multiple servings, and in containers families do not need returned to them. Please sign up to help us support a beloved member of our Camelot School Family!

Weather Watch….as of this writing it looks possible that mid-week might have some wintry weather. As always, stay tuned for an email with Camelot operating details and remember to make the travel decision that is appropriate for your location and circumstances.
I hope you have a great week!
Best,
Thelma
