Greetings!

 

As anticipated, we packed a lot into last week’s cold days! For trips, Middle and Upper School students traveled to rock climbing. Mettlesome Theater, Playmakers Theater, Bennett Place, Buehler Trail, and Bowlero!  Our Middle Grades Ultimate Team played their season opener at Voyager Academy.  Although we lost, the score was close and the team played well.  MAPP students kicked off their celebration of Holidays Around the World with parent guest speakers.  This tradition is always a highlight of the year!

This Friday afternoon Upper School GOLD students have their monthly meeting of their X Schedule classes.  Dismissal is at the regular 3:30 time.

The Yearbook Staff is pleased to announce Spirit Week this week:

Monday - Camelot Day- Show pride in your school with your best purple and gold looks

Tuesday - Wonder Day- What do you wonder about? Space? Dinosaurs? We want to see how you embody you curious spirit

Wednesday - Wacky Wednesday- Have a silly shirt and no where to wear it? Today is that day! Don your most outrageous, and school appropriate, duds

Thursday - Historical Time Period- Do you love Steampunk? The 80s? The Roman Empire? Whatever your flavor of history, now is your time to dress as that time

Friday - PJ Friday- Get comfy and cozy as you wear your favorite (school appropriate) pajamas

 

From NHS:

This week, Camelot NHS is holding our Beaded Items Sale! We have once again partnered with Zimbabwean artist Charles Masenda, who sells his art in Durban, South Africa. All of the proceeds from the sales will go to Charles to help him pay for his family's food, education, and medicine for his mother. We have many beautiful bead and wire art pieces that are great for Holiday Gifts! The sale will take place on Tuesday (10th), Wednesday (11th), and Thursday (12th) during lunch (12:00 - 12:30) and dismissal (2:30 - 3:40). We can accept cash and Venmo.

The Upper School Forge Your Path Google Classroom has many new announcements of high school opportunities locally and across the world.  Summer experiences at colleges and in the field are being added regularly.  Please check it out!
