Greetings!

I hope this email finds you well and with minimal impact from Friday’s storms.

BEHIND THE SCENES:

We had a productive Faculty Retreat and made great strides in fine-tuning the year to reflect the needs and desires of our student body.  As the faculty and I discussed each student we added a category this year – “What does this student WONDER about?”  ‘It is a fascinating piece of info to add to the mix.  Thank you, again, for your support of this process and the info/feedback you provided.

REMIND:

We are continuing to fine-tune our carpool line.  Please help us by:

-         Displaying name placards in a visible location in your car

-         Waiting until your dismissal window to pull into the parking lot (see below).

MAPP - 2:55-3:05

MG - 2:50-3:00

Purple - 3:05*-3:15 (*please don’t enter the lot earlier!)

Gold - 3:35-3:45

Enrollment for the Spain trip is still ongoing! Contact Ms. Charlotte regarding any questions at charlotte@camelotacademy.org.

With the changing weather comes a notable uptick in lost and found sweaters and jackets.  Please label all clothing items with your student’s name so we can return them!

We are closed on Friday for a Teacher Work Day in preparation for over 130 family conferences next week!

ANNOUNCE:

Upper School students are invited to participate in job shadow opportunities during the week of Family Conferences. We have a diverse slate of offerings thanks to our fantastic community of parents! Here is the list of options available, and students can also view it on the Forge Your Path Google Classroom:

Soccer update:

The game that was scheduled for last Thursday will be played on Monday at Fletcher.

Students taking the PSAT this Friday (most 10th and 11th graders) must bring their devices on Monday for the pre-administration. See the Friday email from Jill for more information.

Club and Winter Sports info will go home via email on Monday.

-         Clubs begin the week of October 14- check out the many opportunities for all ages.
