Glenn Mehrbach
Jazz Teacher

Education: Attended Fullerton Junior College and Boston University

Professional Development: Has been a professional musician since 1976. Worked as pianist, composer, arranger, vocal coach and musical director. Toured internationally with cabaret chanteuse Andrea Marcovicci from 1981-99. Performed on, musical directed, composed for, produced and arranged over 2 dozen CDs. Composed music for dozens of musicals, plays and other assorted musical groups. Composed and/or arranged music locally for Peace College, North Carolina Kids Theatre and the Carolina Ballet. Currently Music Director at the Community Church of Chapel Hill, Unitarian Universalist, and Staff Associate in the Music and Theatre Departments at Duke University.

Roni Peterson
Dramatic Arts and Clay/Craft Arts Teacher

Education: B.A. in Speech Arts (major in Speech Therapy, minor in Psychology), Long Island University, C.W. Post Campus

Professional Development: A clay artist since 1981; her work has been featured in galleries in Florida, North Carolina, and South Carolina, as well as in specialty boutiques. Owned and operated a Paint-it-Yourself ceramic studio in Chapel Hill and taught clay workshops until 1998. Served as liason for the Orange County Artist's Guild for two years and remains an active member of the guild. Has co-owned and served as the executive producer of a film and video production company since 1993. Has worked as assistant director, location scout, production manager, line producer and talent agent for television commercials, corporate image films, and theatrical motion pictures. Has taught acting classes for the Carrboro Parks and Recreation Dept.

Professional Development: Acting classes in scene study and monologue in both Massachusetts; Creative Writing course at SPC online; yearly seminars held by Pinellas County Schools for teachers of English, played female lead in an independent production of Tristan and Isolde, self-published adolescent novel.
